Our Lanham Bible study meets Tuesdays, 7:00 PM, at Panera Bread, 10531 Martin Luther King Jr. Hwy, Lanham.. Panera Bread is in Vista Gardens Marketplace at the junction of routes 450 and 704.
Our Silver Spring Bible Study meets on Tuesday, 7:00 PM, at the home of Saul & Heather Alonzo, 14833 Hammersmith Circle.
We are also a partner with the Brazilian SDB Conference in their building of a parsonage for one of their pastors. You can view that information by going to "Ministries" and then clicking on "Brazil Mission."
OUTREACH MINISTRIES: Each month we support two elementary schools (Kingsford & Perrywood) with items such as pencils, erasers, glue sticks, notebooks, etc. We also provide underwear and socks for the younger children who need them.
Besides being a member of the Seventh Day Baptist General Conference, we are a member of the Eastern Association of Seventh Day Baptists, and the National Coalition of Ministries to Men (NCMM). On September 28, we will join with the Washington (DC) SDB Church and the SDB Christian Church (VA) for a day of worship and fellowship.
Central SDB Church is made up of people just like you, seeking to live out their faith in an ever-increasingly complex world. We believe the Bible is valid for today. You are invited to join us on any Sabbath (Saturday) at 10:00 AM for Bible study. We have gifted teachers and classes for all ages. Our 11:15 AM worship service is a rich blend of traditional hymns and contemporary choruses, and the messages are always a "now" word for our lives. You will receive a warm welcome from us, and God's blessing of worshipping on His Holy Sabbath.
