Tsedaka – the Hebrew word for Righteousness – is a reminder of God’s True desire for His people. Righteousness is a much maligned word in the English language. To many, it is the ideology of that which is too good, beyond the reach of mortal man. It Truth Tsedaka ia a word of certain selflessness, moral Justice, that form of salvation from the immoral that Man is able to acquire. It is the outlook that the follower of God seeks for his fellow man. Tsedaka – that salvation that is brought by grace, but demonstrated by works – our attitude in action toward our fellow man.
