God established covenants with His people including the Covenant of the Rainbow, the Abrahamic Covenant, the Mosaic Covenant, and the Davidic Covenant. Jesus instituted the remembrance of the Last Supper as a Testimony to His Death and Resurrection as everlasting redemption and atonement. This redemption and atonement is our legacy in the form of the Ultimate Sacrificial Lamb; the death, abandonment, and resurrection of Jesus. This is the reason there is no need for blood sacrifice. This is the reason the Church institutes covenant agreements in the congregation. There is a real need to examine self before participating in a covenant agreement. There is a real need to examine self before participating in the observance of the Last Supper.
